Black Bag is a 2025 American spy thriller film directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by David Koepp. It stars Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Marisa Abela, Tom Burke, Naomie Harris, Regé-Jean Page, and Pierce Brosnan and follows a British intelligence officer tasked with investigating a list of possible traitors, one of whom is his wife.

Soderbergh and a good cast, could have been a top movie, but it was not unfortunately. It dragged a long way too much and too long and it took ages before concept of a plot came clear to me. But curiosity kept me in my seat and I spotted a familiar location in London, which I wnted to be confirmed and yes, I waited for my bus to the hotel in Camden there several times and even had a wrap or two at the same Pret-A-Manger that Fassbender visited at one point
The Agatha Christie-esque finale was well done and made up for a bit of the tediousness, so I end up with a good 3.

Hallo allerseits,
ich bin in allen wesentlichen Punkten einer Meinung mit Roughale; der Film braucht - gerade bei seiner kurzen Laufzeit - viel zu lange, um den Plot zu etablieren. Das macht das Mitfiebern und -raten nahezu unmöglich, auch wenn vor allem Fassbender und Blanchett gut spielen. Das Ende hat mich dann in der Tat an Agatha-Christie-Film erinnert.
Von mir ebenfalls eine "Drei".
