"In From the Side" - a film about two rugby player in a gay team starting an illicit affair - funnily enough was pretty much a one-man show behind the cameras. Co-writer/director Matt Carter - who mainly seems to work as a special effects technician - took also on the roles of producer, camera man, composer, editor, production designer, head of casting, (of course) visual effects artist, and end credits designer. He delegated the acting (mostly) to actual actors, though, as can be seen in the trailer:
To me, rugby is an even more foreign sports concept than american football or baseball - but how about you? How did you enjoy the film, the actors, the sports scenes and everything in between? Please let us know in a reply to this posting.
And a Happy New Year to all of you!
