#1432 Fisherman's Friends: One and All

"Fisherman's Friends: One and All" is the - heavily fictionalized - sequel to 2019's "Fisherman's Friends" and loosely chronicles the band's journey to the release of their second album, and their perfomance at Glastonbury festival. All the "friends" return for the second part - even David Hayman, whose character Jago died in the first film. Absent however are Daniel Mays (as music manager Danny) and Tuppence Middleton (as his love interest Alwyn), new faces come from irish singer-songwriter Imelda May (as former rock star Aubrey) and Jade Anouka (as label executive Leah).

Mir hatte schon Teil 1 gut gefallen und bei Teil 2 war es nicht viel anders. Schönste Landschaftsaufnahmen, von der Bank mhätte man mich schwer wegbekommen und die Bühne am Meer - wunderschön! Und der White Rover geht immer

Und ich fand den Film richtig schlimm.
Wenn die Story durchhängt (welche Story eigentlich?), dann fällt Oma in die Grube, darf man mit Farmern nicht singen, macht die Freundin völlig unmotiviert Schluss - oder ein Mann fährt Boot und schießt Leinen über den Ellenbogen auf...
Da ist die Dramaturgie und Figurenführung in wirklich jeder deutschen Vorabendserie sorgfältiger.

Ich fand es gerade für einen zweiten Teil sehr gelungen.
Man hat es geschafft noch mal eine andere Art von Story zu erzählen.
