#1166 Churchill (2017)

The name of the movie suggests a full-on biopic - but "Churcill", like "Jackie" a couple of months ago, does not present a birth-to-death account of the life of famous british prime minister Winston Churchill, but rather a glimpse into just a few days during WW2, leading up to the D-Day invasion of then-occupied France. It's the second sneak feature by Jonathan Treplitzky after another drama with ties to WW2, "The Railway Man", which was shown exactly 101 sneaks ago.
Curiously, there will be another Winston Churchill on the silver screen soon. In the fall, Gary Oldman will play the man in "Darkest Hour", which deals with the beginning of his term as prime minister. But for now, here's the trailer for the eponymous film:
