The dog made it impossible for the film to fail... Although it started a little confusing and slow, the dog was the eye candy helping through that. And it became unpleasantly spooky, which happens rarely for me after so many films on this genre and is most welcome! And it turned out, at least as I saw it, to be the tale of a dog whose owner died and then the lonely dog was victim of the spooking - maybe it was not that but that worked for me and very well as well! So I end up with a good 2 for the good boy.

Hallo allerseits,
schon ein bisschen merkwürdig, wenn ein Film, der so gerade eben dem Kurzfilm entkommen ist, dann doch erhebliche Längen hat.

Für mich war der Film atmosphärisch und erzählerisch völlig in Ordnung, nur was selbst für 72 Minuten letztlich zu wenig los. Die ungewohnte Perspektive aus der Sicht der Hundes – also für Menschen in etwa auf Kniehöhe – sorgte dafür, daß man die meiste Zeit auf den Fuß oder Waldboden starrte und nur selten Personen im Gänze zu sehen bekam. Aber die waren im Endeffekt auch nebensächlich. Etwas übernatürliches Brimborium hatte der Film auch noch zu bieten, wobei viele der Szene in Träumen des Hundes versteckt waren.

Im Endeffekt wäre das ein guter 45-Minüter geworden, auf 72 Minuten war es mehr eine „Drei“, für eine „Zwei“ was mir da zuviel Leerlauf.
