The novel "It" had been on the bookshelves for only four years when it was turned into the well-known TV two-parter in 1990. That was 27 years ago, and so it‘s not that surprising that Hollywood decided to adapt the maybe most well-known book by horror scribe Stephen King again, especially considering 27 years is the interval for Pennywise‘s (re-)appearances as well.
This time for the big screen, the directing duties fell to Andy Muschietti, who is no stranger to the genre, as we all witnessed in 2013 with his debut „Mama“ (Sneak #0953). What we saw tonight is only the first part of a duology, and judging from the US box office, this series will definitely get a part two again. Here‘s the trailer for „It“:
